Many products sold by Backyard Charm Boutique are covered by warranties provided by their respective manufacturers. Backyard Charm Boutique will assist our customers with manufacturer warranty claims and serve as your point of contact throughout the claim process.
If you believe your product has a defect covered by warranty, please contact Backyard Charm Boutique directly rather than contacting the manufacturer. We will collect the information required for the claim and coordinate with the manufacturer on your behalf.
Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, and available remedies vary by manufacturer and product. Manufacturer warranty terms apply unless otherwise stated below. Backyard Charm Boutique does not expand or modify the manufacturer's warranty coverage.
Jay Scotts Products: Jay Scotts fiberglass planters are covered by a three (3) year manufacturer-backed warranty from the time of receipt of the product.
Products are warranted to be of quality material and workmanship, and free of manufacturing defects.
If a covered defect is confirmed, the product will be repaired, exchanged or you will be given credit for the original purchase price of any item proving to be of defective materials or workmanship.
Mishandling, misuse, abuse, failure to follow directions for use, unauthorized modifications, neglect, accidents or any other hazard to the product voids the three year warranty.
Your planters are finished with an automotive paint that offers many advantages including UV resistance and can withstand extreme conditions. While the top coat paint used is very durable, storing planters in wet or steamy cartons or standing water can cause damage to the finish. Normal use allowing water to immediately drain off the finish after installation will not cause any harm.
Planting instructions are available on our website to help ensure the longevity of your planter. It is highly encouraged to follow these instructions for the best use of Jay Scotts planters.
Please note that it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that water is able to drain sufficiently from the containers with outdoor use. This is notably important in regions that are subjected to freezing conditions.
The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover labor, shipping, delivery or any other costs associated with a claim.
Please Note:
Backyard Charm Boutique nor the manufacturer are responsible for any damages resulting from improper drainage if you choose to create your own drainage holes. Our offer to create drainage holes free of charge is designed to ensure the best performance of your planters. Failure to follow our recommended guidelines can lead to planter damage and is not covered by the warranty.

Campania Products: Campania provides a limited 3-year warranty for damages occurring during normal product usage. Fountain pumps are covered by a 1-year warranty. For more information or for warranty claims, please call us at 561-448-0595.
